TRUST IN THE LORD

Brethren, as we enter the New Year, you may have problems, lost hope troubled, have no joy; I pray that we not need to look at our problems but unto God the all knowing and willing to help in every situation. If we look at Him and trust Him, He is more than ready to meet all the desires of our hearts. Philippians 4:19. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Take a good look at what He says to us in these verses;
The Bible say in Joshua 1:6, 7 that we should be strong and courageous for He is always with us. Not only that be read this;
Isaiah 49: 15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. 16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; Your walls are continually before Me.”
Isaiah 49: 17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me," Says the Lord.
Psalms 34: 10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
Mark 11: 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Philippians 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
All these scriptures tell us that He is will to help us. What we have to do is be strong and courageous to face whatever comes our way knowing He is there to help us. We need to only believe in Him and whatever is troubling us will go away. Remember H is never late nor early but always will be on time to deliver us.
Now as we enter the New Year we just need to trust in the Lord and every thing will fine regardless of what we are going through.
I wish you a happy and blessed year.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND A BLESSED NEW YEAR

My dear brother and sister in the Lord,

I greet you with the words of Paul's letter to the Philippians chapter 1:3-6

3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

This month as remember the how God loved us and sent His only son to come and die for us, it is my prayer that we be the people whom the Lord will use next year to touch the lives of many people.

This Christmas as we celebrate His coming, let us remember who we are in Christ. I want you this Christmas think of the word of God in these verses; for I know He has brought Life and would like the world to see this life through us who are called by His name. Romans 12

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Why does the word of God say that? It is because we are salt and light to the world.

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16

And also when believers stand and pray, the whole land benefit. 2 Chronicles 7:13-15 13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

For that reason, and that God works through us, as we celebrate Christmas, let us think of this great love and be able reach to others.

Have a blessed Christmas and a happy new year.

I remain your brother in the Lord

Moses.

FAITH COMETH BY HEARING

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is
heard through the word of Christ
Romans 10:17

For years; I have discovered that without faith we cannot make progress
in real life as Christians. We have one main adversary-the devil. He
works through all sort of things with diverse gimmicks. The key to
overcome is the faith we have in the WORD, HIS Word.

When you first heard the Word of God, you received faith from God.
Sadly many Christians are struggling with lack of faith. Why is this?
I believe that it is because they have allowed tradition to steal
their faith.

Matthew 6:30 says, “If that is how God clothes the grass of the field,
which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not
much more clothe you, O you of little faith?”

Tradition steals faith in three ways—first, tradition takes doubt and
produces unbelief. Second, tradition nullifies the Word of God,
because it trivializes the power of Satan and causes believers to be
ignorant of their own power in Christ Jesus. Third, tradition steals
your faith and hope which causes barrenness in every season.

In order to reclaim what is rightfully yours you must do it in faith.
John 8:54 says, “Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means
nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who
glorifies me.” You have to know the Word of God, believe the Word of
God, apply the Word of God, stand on the Word of God and fight with
the Word of God in FAITH.

The challenge I have for you this day is- if devil failed to stop your
mouth from accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior; he cannot
stop your faith from growing except you allow him. Therefore stir up
your faith today and go forward in Jesus Christ name.
You shall never be limited again at all. Give Him praise.
Have a blessed reading.

DANGERS OF NOT TAKING OUR MARRIAGE COVENANTS SERIOUSLY

Danger of not taking our marriage covenants seriously!

Marriage is a covenant between man and woman in marriage. Many times we take this covenant lightly and we forget that God honors and very serious with covenants. Most of the time we come before the Lord on our wedding day make covenants before the God and don’t take it seriously and in a few years we divorce. My brothers and sisters, covenants made before the Lord last forever. In proverbs 18:20-22 we read about the power in words and the passage ends by saying “he who finds a wife, does a good thing and finds favor with the Lord” so after we have made our marriage vows, we should honor the Lord by keeping our marriage covenants. If we don’t, then we are sinning against the Lord. So marriage is forever we should not play with it and we should always be sure of our selves before committing our selves to marriage. Remember marriage is a total commitment of the total person for a total life. We always need to ask Him to join us to be one flesh.

Only God can create a “one-flesh” relationship between a man and a woman. Know further that this one flesh condition is created through the making of a vow, and is called a covenant for life; which can be broken only by the physical death of one of the partners. Any offspring of Adam who has become a part of such a covenant must understand this and realize that either partner can violate this covenant repeatedly but it is scripturally impossible to break it.

Let me share with you some rationalizations I often hear. "Yes, I know that remarriage is a sin because marriage is for life, BUT, life long marriages are God’s perfect will, and we have to be realistic. After all, Jesus was teaching God’s ideal, but we know that real life is not like that however. Yes, remarriage is a sin, but if you don’t believe God can forgive that sin of adultery, then you have found ‘the only unpardonable sin.’" Have you heard that before: "The unpardonable sin"? I have had many people present that argument to me. Actually, however, there are several answers to such an argument, and you need to know about them. One man said, "I have a friend who has been remarried for 25 years to the same woman. Does the permanence of their present, long term relationship make a difference?"

I said, "I’ll answer that if you will answer another question for me first." "How many other sins can you name those tend to die of old age?" Does lying? Sodomy? or Prostitution? Do any of these ever quit being sin if you do them long enough? How does the word of God say that we are to classify those who persist in living with anyone other than their first marriage partner, (Even if it is for 50 years.) while their first partner is still alive? In Romans 7:3, Paul the apostle called it a perpetual state of "adultery?" (She shall be called an adulteress.) I fact, in Galatians 1:8 & 9, Paul, who had supernaturally been given revelation truth directly from Jesus Christ, while in the Arabian Desert; said, "though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be ACCURSED."

If we are talking of any sin, the unchanging biblical requirement for forgiveness is not to let it die of old age, but to repent of it, no matter how long it has been going on. It will never change its status; it is SIN! Please know that adultery is SIN; but it is much more than sin. It is the violation of a covenant. I can repent of my sin and be totally forgiven, but repentance and saying you are sorry does not affect, stop or change a covenant. You and I must repent of it, and, if possible, re-establish our relationship through complete forgiveness, or live a celibate lifestyle.

In Joshua 9, Joshua was proceeding to conquer the land promised to them, as God had commanded him to do. He was proceeding as directed, to kill all of the inhabitants of that land. In verse 3, when some of the Amorites, (One of the tribes inhabiting the land that God had commanded Joshua to destroy.) who lived in the city of Gibeon (called Gibeonites) heard that Joshua was coming to destroy them, the scriptures tell us that they decided to fool Joshua with trickery. They put on old clothes, took moldy bread, old wineskins, worn out shoes, and covered themselves with much dust. Then they rode their camels over the hill to meet Joshua and told him that they had come from a far away land, having heard of his great army and his God who was conquering all the nations before him. They said they had come to make a treaty with Israel. Please, make note of this important fact: they were lying through their teeth! In Verse 14 it says that Joshua and his men looked at, and were convinced that they were telling them the truth because of their appearance and the condition of their food and garments. The bible says they "didn’t even inquire of the Lord." Instead, vs. 15 says that Joshua and his leaders, “made a peace covenant with them."

Immediately after this, someone found out that they were not from far away, but instead, from just over the hill. Joshua and his men then realized that they had been lied to. You would think Joshua and his men would have risen up and killed all of them for their lies, and for making them look very foolish. You would think they would have said, like many today would say, "We didn’t know what we were doing, they fooled us." But; but, vs. 18 says, "And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them by the Lord God of Israel." These men understood the seriousness of a verbal vow. They didn’t dare touch them. Instead, from then on Joshua not only let them live, but had to protect them from all of their enemies as he and his men had promised they would do in a covenant.

The next time we hear anything about this covenant with the Gibeonites, is in II Samuel 21:1, where it says; "Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the Lord, and the Lord answered, it is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites." Evidentially, Saul was upset because there were so many of the Gibeonites working all around the tabernacle, and had many of them killed.

Remember now; originally, God had commanded Joshua to kill all the inhabitants of the Land. Now Saul had only killed a few, and the Lord had caused a severe drought to come upon the land of Israel because of that killing spree by Saul. God said the drought was Saul’s fault because he had killed these Amorites. Why would God do that to Israel when He had originally said "kill them all?" It was the COVENANT, and God is a Covenant honoring God!

David asked the Lord how he could resolve the problem and he went to the declared what the Lord had told him. He then asked the Gibeonites how he, as king, could honorably resolve this violation of the covenant with them to make atonement for the ones Saul had killed. In accordance with God’s standard for Israel, (if a life be taken, a life must be taken.) the Gibeonites told David to give them seven of Saul’s sons that they might hang them. He did, and they hanged them. In II Samuel 21:14c is a very shocking and enlightening statement: it says; "And after that (after Saul’s seven sons were hanged.) God was entreated for the land." After the covenant was vindicated, God again answered David’s prayer and ended the drought.

Can you imagine how much David must have prayed and wept before the Lord during those three years and had no results, until he had made restitution for the covenant that was devised in deception; but confirmed by God because of the verbal agreement (covenant) that was spoken before God, without seeking His counsel? Once the covenant was stated in His presence, it was acknowledged, confirmed and enforced by God Himself.

How many times have you heard people try to get out of a promise by saying, "I didn’t know what I was saying," or "I didn’t understand the seriousness of what I was saying at that time." To that, God says; "A covenant is a covenant, is a covenant, and I am a Covenant honoring God." - Even a covenant that may have been born in deception, or through flippancy.
THE POWER OF A COVENANT

For another example, look at Genesis 25:29, where we read about Jacob and Esau. Esau had just come in from the field; was very hungry, and asked his brother Jacob for some pottage he was cooking. Jacob evidently immediately saw an opportunity to take advantage of a very unique situation. In verse 31, he said to his brother Esau, "Sell me this day thy birthright." Esau responded by saying, man, I am starving and you are worried about a birthright? "Big deal!" Jacob wisely responded in verse 33 by saying: "Swear to me this day." (Literally: vow to God that it is mine.) The same verse says; "And Esau swore to Jacob" that he could have his birthright. The end of verse 34 says, "Esau despised his birthright."

Many today might say, "That was just two brothers messing around. God certainly isn’t going to get up tight about a little foolish thing like that. A lot of people say dumb things like that and don’t even think about it. I surely hope you wouldn’t try to make a doctrine out of that."

They would be absolutely right about one thing: There are millions of young people today who are making vows before God and many other witnesses, during their marriage ceremonies who are later on saying, it really didn’t mean anything, we were just dumb kids and we didn’t know what life was all about. "God certainly isn’t going to hold us accountable for the promises we made in the excitement of young puppy love." Before anyone gets too comfortable with those thoughts, turn with me to Hebrews 12:14-17. Here, the writer to the Hebrews, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, spoke "God breathed words," that should haunt every person who has treated past covenants lightly.

So as we come back to God’s principals, should always know that He made marriage genesis 2:24-25 and that He is a covenant keeper and that He hates divorce Malachi 2; 13-16.

S o to avoid the temptation and falling in this sin, let us avoid being separated for long, 1corithians 7:3-5, for the tempter comes when there is separations. Remember what he did to Jesus after separating Him from the people and sending Him to the wilderness, he came and tempted Him.

GREAT IDEA

HELLO BELOVED OF God, praise is to his holy name.
As you well know that the devil is fighting to destroy marriages and family values, families being destroyed. Married couples divorcing everyday parents not taking care of their children and children not obeying their parents, break down, we have seen a lot of community break down.
If a family breaks down the community and the nation is bound to get criminals
It is in the family that each one of us develops character. Strong families build strong communities and strong nations
A family is the fabric of every thing good or bad. Morals start from the family but for their family to be successful it .needs to allow God’s guidance. Short of that then many problems happen and a family will not be the same.
Look at
Romans 1:18:32
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, and no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
Now beloved of the Lord Jesus Christ as salt and light of this world we raced to help the marriage institution of marriage so for the institution of marriage not to be destroyed, we as believers, we need to go and teach for the Bible says faith comes by hearing
Romans 10:14:17
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.
16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”[b] 17 consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. Jesus also gave us the commission
Matthew 28:19a
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
Remember we have mind and tongue of he learned.
Is 50:4
4 “The Lord GOD has given me
the tongue of the learned,
That I should know how to speak
A word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens me morning by morning;
He awakens my ear
to hear as the learned.
So I have this great idea of building a training centre for both singles and married couples where they come and learn the principles of God’s ward and marriage that we can pressure this scared institution from extinction
Now if you believe marriage scared, is a gift from God and serve God’s purpose in the world, I request you to
1. Stand with us in prayers that this idea comes in to reality
2. Become a partner in developing this school
3. Stand with us financial, we already have land what is remaining is your input.
4. Have a blessed day as you help the institution of marriage. Have the best as you minister to the needs of these people.

THE MISSING LINK TO A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE

THE MISSING LINK TO A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE
The institution at marriage has been said to be thorny by some, but those who have been there and enjoyed it tell a different story. Happiness in marriage does not automatically come because you and your partner love each other. It comes because you make an effort to keep the fire burning
For the fire to burn continuously we have to go back to the basics and apply the principles which govern the institution. We also need to allow the maker of this beautiful gift of marriage teach us how it works
The designer of things in the world, it is a must that they put a manual showing us how to use those things bet it radio, TV, auto- mobile etc
Take the example as a car, He will show you the things to it, oil and fuels. Each car has a specific type of fuel and Oil to run it. For example you can’t put in a petro engine Oils that run a diesel engine or fuel. You can’t put any type of liquid.
In the same way God as the designer of marriage supplied which it a manual the Bible and the fuel to run it the Holy Spirit for us to have a successful marriage, we need to link and have the proper fuel to run the marriage.
Let us see what the Bible says:-
Colossians 3:17
17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Colossians 3:23.
23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,
The Bible is saying whatever we do not in some it the things we do. This include marriage, to do everything well and perfect, we need special energy to do all things. See what Jesus said:
Act 1:8a
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;
Power to do what? Power of love, forgive, to be peaceful, to have joy and many other things. We can’t do all that in our human nature to other people more so our spouse unless we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us. Take a few second and see what Jesus had to say.
John 14:26
26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
John 15:26
26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
John 16:5-14
5 “But now I go away to Him who sent me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify me, for He will take of what is mine and declare it to you.

When we allow the spirit, He is able to teach us many things about marriage, will b e able to constant us when things are not working the way we want them to work.
Why do you think we need to allow the Holy Spirit in our marriage?
First our marriage is a mystery
Ephesians 5:31-33
31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Second it only the Holy Spirit who can bear his fruits in u s. we can’t.
Galatians 5; 22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Third it is only the Holy Spirit who can help us love our spouse with no string s attached that is unselfishly
1Corithains 13; 4-6
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
Lastly, it is the Holy Spirit which can help us to use our mouth rig ht not to use it to hurt our spouses
Proverbs 15:1-2, 4, 23.
1 A soft answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger.
2 The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly,
but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.
4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life,
but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. 23 A man has joy by the answer of his mouth,
and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!
So the Holy Spirit is the missing link to a successful marriage. Before we point a finger to our spouse, first look at yourself to see if you have allowed the Holy Spirit to work in your life look closely to see if this TREE called the Spirit is mature enough t o bear fruits in you.
Remember God delights in marriage
Proverbs 18; 22
22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing,
and obtains favor from the LORD.
And God is grieved if we don’t cherish this gift of marriage
Malachi 2:16
16 “For the LORD God of Israel says
That He hates divorce,
for it covers one’s garment with violence,”
Says the LORD of hosts.

“Therefore take heed to your spirit,
that you do not deal treacherously.”
I wish you the best as you allow the teaching of the Holy Spirit in your life for the better mind it your marriage.
Blessings
PR. MOSES

HEARING GOD'S WORD

HEARING GOD’S WORD.
Hello dear friends, we thank the Lord for yet another new day. We thank Him for His love and mercies. Last time we talked of Hearing. Many times we miss what our friends tell us because we did not hear well. It is also true with the word of the Lord.

God visited Terah the father of Abraham and told him to go to Canaan, he ended up in Haran. Many times God has given us responsibilities for us to accomplish, but have failed to finish because we don’t listen to His advice. Look at 1kings 17:1-11.
God sent Elijah to the brook, but after a few possibly day, weeks or months the brook dried up. He had all the opportunity to complain about his situation but he chose to listen to the one who took him there. Let us read;
1 Kings 17
Elijah Proclaims a Drought
1 And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”
2 Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, 3 “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 4 And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”
5 So he went and did according to the word of the LORD, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook. 7 And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

8 Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, 9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a cup that I may drink.” 11 And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.”
Many times we have failed to know God’s purpose for our live, marriage, family and ministry because we have failed to the one who put us in that place and who has all the answers to the questions we might be having.
When the brook dried u, Elijah listened to the one who took him at the brook, and he got answer to his problem of the drying brook.
Whatever the situation, let us listen to what the Lord has to say, for He has all the purposes of our lives.
I pray that you have a blessed day as you listen to what He has to tell you in whatever situation you have.

WORSHIPING GOD IN YOUR LANGUAGE

WARSHIP GOD IN YOU LANGUAGE
Praise God friends, hope you doing fine. Am also doing very well. Yesterday we had a cultural Sunday and the many tribes we have in church participated by singing in their languages. We had a wonderful service knowing that God hears every language.
I spoke from Genesis chapter 11:1-7.
Do you know why we have these many languages? They helped us to serve God’s purpose of multiplying and filling the world. In one language we were rebelling against the Lord. Look at this.;-

Chapter 11 Overview:
Genesis Chapter 11 is a summary of history from the end of the flood to the time of Abraham. There are several significant events here. (1) The first attempt to create a one-world system is attempted by man and aborted by God at Babel. Also the actual cause of the dispersion of nationalities is found. (2) The continued lineage of the godly seed is noted in tracing the line of Christ to Abraham. (3) A few details of the life and heritage of Abraham are provided.
Genesis 11: 1 - And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. Evidently, God created only one language when He created Adam. Verbal communication is another aspect of man being created in the image of God. No other creature on earth has this ability. It would be interesting to know with which original language God created Adam. Many believe that Hebrew was the original language. This would make sense since was the language the earliest biblical patriarchs. However it is only an assumption as there is no biblical verification
Genesis 11 : 2 - And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. The ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat which is in northeastern Turkey. Shinar is another name for Chaldea or its later name, Babylon. Shinar is southeast from Ararat. The families of Noah and his descendants.
Genesis 11: 3 - And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar. At the time of Peleg (see Genesis 10:25) at least 100 years after the flood, the =community’ of man decided to build a monument to their presumptuous plans.
Genesis 11: 4 - Let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. The phrase .go to,. Used twice here, is translated from the Hebrew word (yahab) and has the sense of =come‘or =come on.‘ The =world community’ called themselves together—.come on, let‘s build us a city..
Some Key Points: No one sought God‘s will in the matter. To the contrary, their plan was in direct rebellion to God‘s will. (Genesis 9:1 – “Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth”) They were trying to reach heaven on their own terms and through their own ability. They thought they could build a tower high enough to reach heaven and God.
It was just one of the first human schemes of religion (Many today are just as ridiculous) They sought to make a name for themselves (Pride of Life) The first organized attempt for a one-world system was launched. As has been the case down through the ages, God was left out. Humanism at it‘s finest – trying to accomplish a human plan while ignoring God God was not ready to allow such an attempt – That fullness of time was not yet ready. The ultimate one world government will be when Jesus Christ returns and establishes His kingdom on this earth. The primary building material was some sort of brick. The slime mentioned was a sort of asphalt or tar. Towers and pyramids were not uncommon structures in the civilization after the flood.
Genesis 11 : 5 - And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. He did not need to actually go down and see what was going on. He already knew. However, the Holy Spirit chose to portray Him so doing, perhaps to convey His likeness to mankind and that a man would investigate a matter. God noted their united effort and their common language.
Genesis 11 : 6 - And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. There were those who remained faithful to God, particularly in the lineage of Shem. The tower of Babel was commenced in the lifetime of Peleg (Genesis 10:25) which according to Genesis 11:10-16 was born about a century after the flood. Peleg lived to be about 239 years old {see Genesis 11:16- 19}.) Remember that Noah lived after the flood 350 years. (See Genesis 10:28.) Therefore, Noah was most likely living when the matter of Babel got under way. It is likely that he and others would have protested such an undertaking. .Nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. is likely in that context. It is not that God could not restrain them from anything they would imagine to do. Rather, no longer could the godly minority restrain them from making this big mistake. God‘s plan was for man to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth (Genesis 9:1). Implied is that God‘s plan was for mankind to spread out and inhabit the entire earth. The planned tower at Babel was a direct violation of His will.
Genesis 11: 7 - Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. As noted above, the phrase .go to. Might once again be rendered =Come‘ or =Come on.‘ God‘s plan was simple. He would .confound their language, that they may not understand one another‘s speech.. God can, will, and does thwart man‘s plans with the simplest adjustment. Man‘s plans were based upon the assumption they could communicate with each other.
God simply changed the language of the various tribes, clans, and family groups. No longer could they work together. No longer could their willful, rebellious plans function. They were of necessity forced to break off the work. Can you imagine waking one morning, going off to some work or off to your project, and not being able to communicate with anyone. I bet the fighting and the distrust started immediately when the groups could not communicate with each other. Material suppliers could not understand the tradesmen laying the brick. Those keeping record of materials could not communicate with those who supplied them. The tower project all came to a screeching halt
Genesis 11 : 8 - So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Each basic family group or tribe evidently could understand each other. The friction and distrust likely caused them to seek new places to settle and start over. Linguists have determined of all the earth‘s languages present today, there are only three basic, root linguistic families. Linguists further have suggested that of those three root languages, they likely at one time had one root. Recall that Noah had three sons and that there are three basic racial groups in the world. The basic nationalities spread across the earth on the basis of languages. Each nationality to this day has its own distinct language.
Genesis 11: 9 - Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. The word Babel is of note. The Hebrew word appears 262 times in the Old Testament. Of these, it is translated as =Babylon‘257 times, =Babylonian‘3 times, and =Babel‘ twice. It simply means =confusion.‘ Even though the tower of Babel was stopped, Nimrod still settled there. He continued to build the city as noted in Genesis 10:10. Historically, Babylon has been the seat of all false religion since the flood and the source of Satanic counterfeit. The Babylonian mystery religion has found its way into most idolatrous, false religions to this day including the Roman Catholic Church. The ungodly, rebellious spirit who motivated the original tower of Babel project continued on through Nimrod and the city he built. Satan has always favored a one world system, because it allows him an opportunity to effectively seek control He was thwarted in his bid at Babel. He will try again during the Tribulation when the church and the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit are removed.
However, God‘s perfect plan is for a one world government to exist under the royal authority: the King of Kings, Jesus Christ.
Have the best as you worship the Lord in your own languages. Do not fill ashamed to talk to God in the language He gave you. For it is His will that you use it for His glory.
Be blessed and enjoy your self as you use that language.

MARRIAGE

Praise God my dear brothers and sisters in the Lord, happy New Year! We wish you the best of 2011.

We would like to share something with you our friends who embless and cherish the gift of marriage.

As we enter the New Year, it is our prayer that we get stronger in our marriages than before, and by this time next year we would once again thank the Lord for our marriages and families.

As you know marriages is hard work and require us to work hard. It is not about “ME” but “US” 2COR; 7:3. so we need first of all to examine ourselves to see if we are still on track. We need to test ourselves in the way we communicate and how we handle our every day marriage business. 2cor 13:5

Second, we need to continue in love, for love is patient, kind. Love is not jealous, boastful, proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way, it is not irritable and does not keep record of being wronged, but always rejoicing. 1 cor 13:4-7.

So for us to enjoy this gift we must be people of responsibility in marriage. You know marriage is a 50%-50% proposition in a strong loving marital relationship. Each partner must be willing in unselfish way to cross the half boundary and make up the difference. This takes the marriage to a higher level because each partner is willing to give 100% to make the marriage strong and happy while maintaining, or even lifting each other’s self-esteem. This is going the extra mile or miles with each other to assure a lasting, loving marital relationship with one another and in Christ. Do you wish things could be different in your marriage this year? Well, it takes more than wishing. You need to begin sowing different seed to get a different crop. If you do just what you did last year, at this time next year you will still have the same marriage you have now. Scripture tells us that we reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7). In order to reap new and better things in our marriage, we must sow new and better seeds. We sow through our words, our actions, and our attitudes. That means we must become proactive in sowing, not just reacting to what our spouse is doing or saying.

What kind of harvest do you want this time next year? More love? More attention? More time together? More purpose to your marriage? Whatever it is, begin today sowing that seed. It will take a while to see the new crop, so be patient. Don't give up! Galatians 6:9 says, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

That means you are guaranteed a harvest of what you are sowing! Don't quit! Sow what you desire to receive and watch your marriage change!

This will work for us better if we continue in God’s word and practice Rom 12:2 which says” Don’t copy the behavior and customs of the world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way we think”. The kjv says “let us be transformed by the renewing of our mind”

We wish you a blessed and prosperous New Year! May your marriage and family thrive in this coming year and may you touch many lives with the good news of Jesus Christ!

We remain you’re your friends in the Lord Jesus Christ

Moses and Ruth Kerejji.
